Dumpster Size Calculator
Turn an estimated debris volume into a practical volume-only roll-off dumpster size for early planning.
Project volume
Enter your estimated loose debris volume and an optional planning margin.
How the size suggestion works
DebrisPilot adds your selected planning margin to the estimated debris volume, then chooses the smallest common nominal roll-off size that can contain that planning volume: 10, 15, 20, 30 or 40 cubic yards.
The margin is simply a planning cushion you control. It is not a rule from a dumpster company. Set it to 0% if you want the calculator to use your volume estimate without extra space.
Common roll-off sizes
Major U.S. providers publish roll-off containers in sizes including 10, 15, 20, 30 and 40 cubic yards. Exact dimensions, available sizes, weight allowances and rental terms vary by provider and service area.
